Caribbean Cruises to Resume in Early June
Finally, good news for vacation travelers, especially those longing to cruise again!

Celebrity Millennium returns to service June 5th following its $70-
million makeover completed during the cruising hiatus.
The Royal Caribbean Group announced on Friday Caribbean cruises by its premium and family cruise brands will begin cruising North American waters in June for the first time in more than a year.
Celebrity Millennium will offer two 7-night Caribbean itineraries operating June 5th through August from its new homeport in St. Maarten. The ship will sail with a fully vaccinated crew and open 900 veranda ocean view staterooms and higher categories to adults who have been vaccinated. All guests, including children under 18, must have a negative COVID test results within 72 hours of embarkation. (Interior and ocean view cabins will not be available due to limitations on the number of guests).
Reservations open March 25 for both itineraries and back-to-back cruises may be available. All-inclusive pricing, including round-trip air to St. Maarten, will start at $1,900 per person, double occupancy for balcony staterooms.
The Aruba, Curaçao and Barbados Itinerary will visit Aruba’s natural rock pools, caves and volcanic lava formations; the Dutch-colonial-style buildings and the Willemstad City Center UNESCO World Heritage Site in Curaçao; and snorkeling and catamaran sailings in the cool blue waters of Barbados. On the Tortola, St. Lucia and Barbados Itinerary, guests will visit Sugar Beach, along with one of the British Virgin Islands’ Tortola.
The Millennium will sail with comprehensive, multi-layered health and safety measures developed with guidance from the parent company’s Healthy Sail Panel and Global Head of Public Health and Chief Medical Officer; and local health and government authorities. Onboard protocols will be announced prior to sailing.
Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line plans to offer 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Nassau beginning June 12th through August. Those sailings will include two consecutive days at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal’s private island destination, along with Grand Bahama Island and Cozumel.
Given the pent-up demand for cruising, I anticipate all of these sailings will sell out quickly. So, if you desire more information about these cruising opportunities, please contact me as soon as possible.
